What is Hyatt Leverage?

Hyatt Leverage is a program for business owners with work-related hotel accommodations. To be clear, Hyatt Leverage is not a separate World of Hyatt membership account. Instead, it applies to your existing account and provides the following benefits:

Hotel stays are discounted up to 15%.
Be able to book online or over the phone using your unique discount code.
Tools to add/remove employees, control spending, view hotel bills, and analyze report data.
As mentioned earlier, Hyatt Leverage is a special kind of discount code. You will still use the same Hyatt Global account to manage your points, strive for elite status, and enjoy all the other perks you are used to.

As a Hyatt Globalist, I worry about how using Hyatt Leverage will affect my identity. Rather than splitting my accommodation into two accounts and hurting my chances of re-qualifying for Globalist status next year, will I still accumulate my stay nights in the same way, enjoying my perks at check-in and earning all expenses in my same account?

I emailed these questions to my Hyatt Concierge, and this is her response:

With regard to the Hyatt Leverage Plan, you still only have one Hyatt Place account and all your accommodations will be credited to that account. The main benefit is getting a discounted rate that you can use for business or personal travel. You can pay at https://www.hyatt.com/leverage for details and join the program
The FAQ states that businesses worldwide can sign up for Hyatt Leverage. Your business does not need to be headquartered in any particular location. Your employees can use the discount code for personal and business travel, and may be asked to provide proof of employment when checking into the hotel from the company where they use their code.
